Where can I get more information about the Australian Fair Pay Commissions decisions

The Workplace Authority is providing information on the Australian Fair Pay Commission’s (Commission’s) wage-setting decisions through the Workplace Infoline.

The Workplace Infoline on 1300 363 264 provides up to date information on wages and conditions to employees, employers, representative organisations and community groups.

On the Commission’s behalf, the Workplace Infoline will provide the following information about wage-setting decisions:

  • what is included in a decision;
  • when a decision takes effect;
  • rates of pay increases as a result of a decision, and what is included in a rate of pay;
  • increases to the standard Federal Minimum Wage (FMW);
  • information for employers and employees under the federal jurisdiction who are affected by a decision;
  • information for special Federal Minimum Wages, including junior employees, employees to whom training arrangements apply and employees with a disability; and
  • information for casual and piece rate workers.
