On 15 December 2007 the Australian Fair Pay Commission invited written submissions from interested organisations and individuals to its 2008 Minimum Wage Review. Submissions to this review closed on 14 March 2008.
A total of 95 submissions were received - 47 from employer, employee, community, professional and education organisations; 12 from government and government agencies and 36 from individuals and private businesses.
The Commission undertook to post submissions on its website except those where confidentiality was requested. However, the Commission maintains a discretion to withhold submissions that are considered to fall outside the performance of its statutory functions.
Ninety two of the submissions received were lodged as non-confidential and have now been posted to this website. They can be downloaded from the links on the left-hand navigation bar.
