On 2 December 2006 the Australian Fair Pay Commission invited written submissions from interested organisations and individuals to its 2007 Minimum Wage Review. Submissions to this review closed on 30 March 2007.
A total of 62 submissions were received - 43 from employer, employee, community, professional and education organisations; six from government and government agencies and 13 from individuals and private businesses.
The Commission undertook to post submissions on its website except those where confidentiality was requested. However, the Commission maintains a discretion to withold submissions that are considered to fall outside the performance of its statutory functions.
