The Commission has released its second Economic and Social Indicators – Monitoring Report, for the period January to June 2008. The report is available for download below, along with the first issue which was released in February 2008 and covers the period July to December 2007.
The half-yearly report assists the Commission to monitor the impact of its wage-setting decisions for Australia’s lowest-paid workers. It also provides stakeholders with improved information about the economic and social circumstances of low-paid Australians.
The report is informed by a range of sources including research commissioned from the National Institute of Labour Studies and Access Economics.
The next issue will be released in March 2009.
