“Reports today that the Australian Fair Pay Commission has made a decision to rule on different awards classifications separately are totally incorrect.
The Commission is currently conducting stakeholder meetings, public consultation and undertaking research. The Commission has called for submissions from all interested organisations and individuals and these can be received until close of business Friday July 28th.
The Commission will consider all information gathered through these processes and is on track to hand down its inaugural decision in Spring 2006”.
