Research forum
In October 2008, the Commission is planning a Minimum Wage Research Forum to bring together the most up-to-date thinking on minimum wage issues from Australia and around the world. The theme of the Forum – Setting Minimum Wages to Promote Economic Prosperity – will complement the Commission’s research and consultation programs.
Participation in the Forum will be by invitation and will consist of a mix of academic, government, community and private sector specialists.
